Morgan Jenkins
I am a qualified Sport & Exercise Nutritionist, having obtained my BSc (Hons) from Hartpury University in the UK. I am currently completing a Masters program (MSc) in Nutritional Medicine from Surrey University, as well as a Functional Medicine practitioner qualification through the Kresser Institute.
I have been passionate about food for as long as I can remember – I grew up in the kitchen with my mother, a Cordon-Blue chef, have worked as a private chef in the French Alps and continue to find myself happiest when surrounded by nourishing food.
My relationship with food hasn’t always been a positive one – as an adolescent I suffered from an eating disorder which led to a very disembodied way of living. My lifes’ work has been about unpacking the psychology around relationships with food and exercise, which led me to my studies.
I believe we all have the ability to create positive, healthy relationships with a bodies that we honour and respect, leading to increased mental and physical health.
As a keen sports woman and yoga instructor, I believe in training and eating well. I understand the importance of finding cohesion between physical performance and nutritional practices, and believe in the inherent wisdom of the body and listening to the cues it sends you.
First and foremost I believe that every single body is inherently unique in its response to nutrition, and I am here to assist you in the journey of learning about your unique body, and how to maximise its potential through the holistic approach of Integrated Nutrition.
